Student’s Outstanding Social Impact Award Nomination

Dear Albi,

Every year Utrecht University presents an award to the UU student who excels in the social field. From this year onwards, this award goes by the name of student award ‘Social Impact’.

Last year, the prize went to Kimia Milani Sabzewar, who is fully committed to supporting refugees with her founded foundation Abadi. With also her commitment to more inclusiveness in healthcare and her work as a triage worker during the corona crisis work, Kimia’s social merit was diverse, topical and very important.

This academic year UU would like to come again into contact with enthusiastic students. In your work you will certainly come across these special students. Undoubtedly, in your work, you will also come across such students. If you know a student (or group) who has made extraordinary socially deserving efforts this academic year, please nominate them via the form found in the link below no later than 1 June 2023. New this year is that students may also nominate themselves, to get even more initiatives in.
